From 1984 to September 1989, a major part of the ECOTOP team worked under the name of Engineering Workshop "PROTERM" due to state restrictions until that period.
We created the company in September 1989 with a staff of 5 people.
We realized our first installation site in November 1989.
From the very beginning, we adopted the principle of full engineering - research, scientific and technical research, design, production, assembly, warranty and after-sales service.
In December 1992, we established our own production plant with a warehouse at the foot of Stara Planina - the village of Lokorsko. In 1993, work and mobile service started for customers from all over the country.
Also in 1993, we created the first specialized research-laboratory for innovation in the field of HVAC.
In 1997 and 1998, ECOTOP won and successfully completed a number of PHARE competitions.
In 1999 we officially announced a coordinated activity of the companies in "BUSINESS - GROUP ECOTOP". The same year LOYDS REGISTER, London certified ECOTOP to ISO 9001 for high quality production and assembly activities.
In 2020 the company successfully developed and implemented an integrated quality management system / environment / health and safety at work built on the basis of international ISO standards.
From 28.11.2020 ECOTOP company is certified according to ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001: 2018 by "EM ES - CERT Bulgaria" Ltd.
- The BUSINESS GROUP consists of four independent management companies - BUSINESS GROUP ECOTOP Ltd, ECOTOP, SYSTEM CONSULT 2002 Ltd. and DECAMAX Ltd.
- Specialized Scientific research and Testing Laboratory for innovation activity.
- “BUSINESS GROUP ECOTOP” has its own mobile service and maintains technically its customers and partners all over Bulgaria.
